What SpinetiX Did at Light + Audio Tec 2024
Insights from building the SpinetiX exhibition stand — how creative content and technology change the world of installations for the better. Plus: how they managed content on partner booths remotely.
The SpinetiX stand at Light + Audio Tec 2024 — creative content meets professional AV technology
How They Built the Conference
The SpinetiX team partnered with a professional AV studio and brought in a public speaking coach. The result wasn't just another product demo — it was a full-scale conference with original presentations, live demos, and hands-on workshops.
The presentation training materials were shared publicly for anyone who wants to improve their public speaking skills at AV events — a rare gesture of openness from a hardware manufacturer.
How They Built the Stand
Three key innovations set this booth apart from typical exhibition displays:
- ▸ Custom screen content. Instead of generic product slides, they created original animated content for each screen — logo animations, event wayfinding, and thematic screensavers that matched the booth's visual identity.
- ▸ Vertical display storytelling. A dedicated vertical screen ran long-form content about SpinetiX capabilities — effectively a silent sales pitch running 24/7 during the exhibition.
- ▸ Transparent touch control panel. A transparent touchscreen served as the booth's master control — staff could switch between demos, adjust content, and control partner booths from a single glass panel.
Professional Sound Collaboration
The team collaborated with audio professionals to make the stand "sound like it means business." Exhibition booths are often visually impressive but aurally chaotic. By partnering with a professional sound design studio, they created a cohesive audio-visual experience that drew visitors toward the booth instead of repelling them.
Managing Partner Booths Remotely
An underappreciated capability: from the SpinetiX booth, the team managed content on two partner exhibition stands — pushing updates, switching demo content, and scheduling presentations remotely across the exhibition floor.
The partners (a leading AV distributor and an IT distributor) had their own booths with SpinetiX players, and all content was orchestrated from a single control point. This is a powerful demonstration of how SpinetiX enables centralized content management across multiple locations.
