How a Moscow District Replaced Notice Boards with Digital Signage — and Changed How Residents Engage with Local Government

The Ryazansky District administration in Moscow — a municipal government body serving tens of thousands of residents — deployed outdoor LED displays powered by SpinetiX to create a modern digital communication channel. The goal: replace outdated printed notice boards, increase the speed of resident communication, and build trust between citizens and local government.

6 Goals of the Project

  • Improve digital communication between the district administration and residents — provide accessible, up-to-date information in a format people actually notice
  • Transform the "honor board" from a static printed poster into a dynamic digital format — highlighting individuals and organizations contributing to the district's social and economic development
  • Create a visual communication tool that attracts attention and delivers information at the right place, at the right time
  • Reach the 20–50 age demographic — digital-native residents who are already accustomed to consuming visual digital content
  • Reduce printed notices — less paper, less manual labor, fewer outdated announcements left hanging for months
  • Build resident loyalty to the administration — create a positive, modern image of local government

The Problem with Inconsistent Design

❌ Without template system

  • • Makes information chaotic
  • • No brand recognition
  • • Doesn't differentiate from competitors
  • • Wastes time adapting content

✓ With SpinetiX templates

  • • Creates unified visual identity
  • • Recognizable communication language
  • • Differentiates from other organizations
  • • Streamlines content production
