The Power of Technology: How Sber Used Multimedia to Demonstrate Innovation at Innoprom 2023
Innoprom is Russia's largest industrial exhibition. For Sber — Russia's largest bank — the stand needed to demonstrate innovative solutions for both business and private clients. The result: 5 independently controlled screens with synchronized 3D content, AI-generated art by Kandinsky neural network, interactive product demos, and a VIP control panel — all orchestrated through SpinetiX and Iridium.

Stand Concept
The stand was designed by R2EXPO. Unlike standard exhibition stands with static banners and product posters, the Sber stand was conceived as a multimedia environment where the technology IS the experience. Every surface was dynamic; every screen told a different story about Sber's innovations.
The key design principle: the stand must work in three modes simultaneously:
- ① Ambient mode — artistic brand content plays continuously when no presentation or demo is in progress, making the stand visually arresting from 30 meters away
- ② Presentation mode — when a speaker takes the stage or a VIP guest arrives, the content switches to product demos, case studies, or personalized welcome screens
- ③ Interactive mode — visitors trigger content on specific screens via touch panels, buttons, or staff-controlled interfaces

Screen-by-Screen Breakdown
The stand featured 5 independent screens, each serving a distinct purpose:
Screen #1 & #2 — Synchronized 3D Video Wall
Two screens positioned at non-standard angles. When launched via a button press, they played a seamless 3D image synchronized across both displays — creating a panoramic, anamorphic illusion that drew crowds from across the exhibition hall.
The 3D content was produced by Big Bag Films. The synchronization challenge: two SpinetiX players had to start simultaneously to maintain pixel-perfect alignment across two non-coplanar screens.
Screen #3 — Product Demonstration
An interactive screen where staff demonstrated specific Sber products (banking, AI, cloud services). Content was switched between product demos via the Iridium control panel — a physical 10-inch touchscreen placed behind the booth reception desk.
The interactive content was built using SpinetiX's native SVG/HTML framework — no external plugins or dependencies. Each product demo included live data feeds, animated infographics, and video testimonials.
Screen #4 — Kandinsky 2.1 Neural Art
Perhaps the most talked-about element: a screen connected to Sber's own AI image generation neural network, Kandinsky 2.1. Visitors could generate images from text prompts using the Kandinsky Telegram bot, and the results would appear on the exhibition screen in real-time.
This combined SpinetiX's data-driven content capabilities with Sber's AI technology — demonstrating both products in a single, engaging visual experience.
Screen #5 — Ambient Brand Content
A permanent ambient screen running artistic brand content — abstract animations, typography, and Sber's corporate color palette. This screen served as the "always-on" backdrop that drew attention from a distance when other screens were in standby.
Control System: Iridium + SpinetiX
The entire stand was controlled through a unified system:
- ▸ Iridium touch panel — a 10-inch physical touchscreen placed behind the booth reception desk. Staff could switch any screen to any content mode with a single tap.
- ▸ VIP control page — a separate web-based control interface designed specifically for VIP guest visits, allowing personalized welcome screens and custom content sequences.
- ▸ SpinetiX API — the Iridium system communicated with SpinetiX players via their native API, sending commands to switch content, start synchronized playback, and trigger interactive sequences.

Results
- AI + AV Integration The Kandinsky 2.1 integration demonstrated that SpinetiX can serve as a real-time visualization layer for AI systems — a genuinely new use case for digital signage.
- Unified Control The Iridium + SpinetiX integration proved that 5 independent screens with different content, different interaction modes, and different audiences can be controlled from a single interface by non-technical staff.
- 3D Without Glasses The synchronized anamorphic 3D content across non-coplanar screens created an illusion that stopped visitors from 30+ meters — the single most effective crowd-drawing element on the exhibition floor.
