Client investments are securely protected — SpinetiX players have a long lifecycle
The range of players is produced for 5 to 7 years. All models are compatible with recommended models available for transition. Even discontinued and out-of-warranty equipment receives free system updates. One year before the end of a model`s production integrators and the market are officially informsd of its "Not recommended for long-term projects" status. Throughout SpinetiX history only three mpdels have been discontinued.
Transparent and fair cost structure. The maintenance cost for players is zero AED
The equipment has no moving parts and requires no maintenance. All player models feature passive cooling. There are no fans or technological openings apart from interface ports. They do not collect dust or overheat
The TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) over the entire lifecycle is zero. There is no official MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) because there are no wearable parts in the players. If calculated based on the weakest component—memory—the lifespan exceeds 100 years.
The player is yours forever
SpinetiX clients have full ownership of their equipment. There are no additional payments after purchase, no paid updates, and no cloud services that block functionality if unpaid. SpinetiX media players do not require an internet connection except for retrieving data. This is why the SpinetiX brand is so popular among government and commercial organizations that prioritize security.
Security is the most important thing
The security of public screens is a critical aspect of digital signage. Unauthorized access to display systems can cause both reputational and financial damage. This isn’t just about external attackers but also internal staff. We protect our clients' reputation by paying special attention to securing endpoint devices and the overall system.
Media players run on a custom Linux build with a modified kernel. No one except the developers has access to the system. It is impossible to install drivers, programs, or custom code on SpinetiX players — the main carriers of malicious code and algorithms that disrupt digital signage operations. Even the player itself cannot write anything to its own file system except verified content.
The warranty for media players ranges from 3 to 5 years
The factory warranty is 3 years. For an additional fee the warranty on any model can be extended to 5 years. In the event of equipment failure under warranty, we simply replace it with a new one.
Commissioning time is just a few minutes
The setup process is very simple. Just plug the player into a power outlet, and everything will be up and running in a minute and a half. The players come with a pre-installed and pre-configured system, including the latest updates at the time of shipment. A first-launch assistant is activated to help you quickly fine-tune the player for your display device.
If the player is purchased with a content package, it is also pre-installed and works from the moment it starts. No additional configuration is required.
